The vision of fully autonomous agents running operations unsupervised is, today, overhyped and risky. AI can be confidently wrong; unsupervised agents with broad power over critical systems are a liability. Adopt the realistic version — bounded agents with oversight — and ignore the hype. That’s not pessimism; it’s how you get value safely.
